Owensboro Air Show

The Owensboro Air Show began in 2012 to celebrate the grand opening of the newly revitalized Smothers Park Riverfront in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky. Twelve years later, the Owensboro Air Show has become a signature community event in the region annually showcasing the best military jet teams and civilian performers in the world. This year all eyes will again be on the skies over the Ohio River in downtown Owensboro on Saturday and Sunday as performers showcase vintage warbirds, aerobatic demonstrations, and military jets, including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels! Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal to a wide range of aircraft at the unique static display on Friday at the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport. This is your chance to meet some of the pilots of these aircraft and experience a taste of the Owensboro Air Show. As the sun begins to set, some performers will take to the sky to entertain with an evening spectacle air show performances and fireworks.
